ProTRAIN specializes in customized training plans that meet standards of Labor & Industries, DVR and Displaced Worker retraining goals.
As a Washington State Eligible Training provider, we lay the foundation that allows students to meet labor market demands in various professional settings.
Vocational Counselors: These program layouts are for sample purposes only. Please contact ProTRAIN to begin the pre-enrollment process prior to submitting any programs for state approval. Once your client is approved for enrollment, we will provide you with a formal program layout based on your clients starting date.
Administration Support Specialist - Level 2
12 Months / 1040 hours
Training will be broken up into classroom sessions covering computer basics, keyboarding and the basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and QuickBooks along with a basic understanding of Customer Service, Communication, and other key business skills. Training will be held at ProTRAIN’s computer lab and will be delivered in a combination of instructor-led and self-paced (assisted by an instructor) training. Training will be 12 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
Administration Support Specialist - Level 1.5
9 Months / 720 hours
Training will be broken up into classroom sessions covering computer basics, keyboarding and the basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and QuickBooks along with a basic understanding of Customer Service, Communication, and other key business skills. Training will be held at ProTRAIN’s computer lab and will be delivered in a combination of instructor-led and self-paced (assisted by an instructor) training. Training will be 9 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
Administration Support Specialist - Level 1
6 Months / 480 hours
Training will be broken up into classroom sessions covering computer basics, keyboarding and the basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access along with a basic understanding of customer service, communication, and other key business skills. Training will be held at ProTRAIN’s computer lab and will be delivered in a combination of instructor-led and self-paced (assisted by an instructor) training. Training will be 6 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
Administration Support Specialist - Level 0.5
3 Months / 240 hours
Training will be broken up into classroom sessions covering computer basics, keyboarding and the basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, along with a basic understanding of customer service, communication, and other key business skills. Training will be held at ProTRAIN’s computer lab and will be delivered in a combination of instructor-led and self-paced (assisted by an instructor) training. Training will be 3 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
IT Specialist
6 Months / 480 hours
Training will be broken up into three (3) parts – CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+. Over the course of the six to eight weeks, time will also be spent on customer service and communication training as this is a key skill that usually gets overlooked with IT training programs. All training will be delivered remotely to the client and will be a combination of virtual instructor-led (via online meeting software) and self-paced training.
IT SPECIALIST - LEVEL II
18 Months / 1520 hours
Training will be broken up into sessions covering computer basics, keyboarding and the basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and CompTIA (It Fundamentals, A+) along with a basic understanding of customer service, communication, and other key business skills. The training sessions will be four days per week for five hours per day, delivered remotely to the client and will be a combination of virtual instructor-led (via online meeting software) and self-paced training (online courseware-based).
Medical Administration Support Specialist – Level 1
15 Months / 1280 hours
Training will be broken into classroom session covering computing with Microsoft Office, health information technology, anatomy, and medical terminology, along with a basic understanding of customer service, communication, and office skills needed for a career in medical office administration. Training will be held at ProTRAIN’s computer lab and will be delivered in a combination of instructor-led and self-paced (instructor-assisted) training. Training will last 15 months, Monday-Thursday, 5 hours per day/20 hours per week.
Customer Service Specialist – Level 1
14 Months / 1200 hours
Training will be broken up into classroom sessions covering computer basics, keyboarding and the basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Customer Service, Communication, and other key business skills. Training will be held at ProTRAIN’s computer lab and will be delivered in a combination of instructor-led and self-paced (assisted by an instructor) training. Training will be 14 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
Administrative Technician
5 weeks / 100 hours
Training will be broken up into 20 classroom sessions covering Microsoft Office, Customer Service and Communication. In addition to the 20 classroom sessions, the last two days of training will be reserved for review. Support materials (textbooks, practice exercises) are included in the cost of the program.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION WITH DISPATCH
12 Months / 1040 hours
Our core focus is the Microsoft Office Software, which is the mainstream to today’s office functionality. You will work through one course at a time to learn, practice and then apply the skill before moving to your next topic. With a combination of basic through advanced book, online and project training, students develop an understanding they can confidentially take to their new career path. The dispatch portion of the program will cover an instruction manual for developing the communication aspects of those frontline positions where interaction with vehicle drivers is required. Coverage helps readers develop and fine-tune their interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities, and teaches readers how to handle stress and resolve conflicts while providing essential industry knowledge and logistics. Training will be 12 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION WITH BOOKKEEPING AND QUICKBOOKS
15 Months /1280 hours
ProTRAIN will deliver computer and office skills training in a classroom environment to assist the client in obtaining the needed skills to be a competitive applicant in an entry-level position in the Office Administration with Bookkeeping and QuickBooks Field. The Bookkeeping and QuickBooks portion will teach you to plan a budget, manage payroll systems, and manage accounting. It also makes you aware of the legal standards that apply to accounting methods, giving you the proper credentials, you need to practice bookkeeping with confidence. Training will be 15 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
QUICKBOOKS
40 hours
QuickBooks Pro is the perfect solution for small business accounting procedures. You will learn to Track income, expenses, create estimates, invoices, Sync bank accounts, and apps, Manage and pay bills, Instant sales and profit reports, Track inventory, Prepare and print 1099s and more.
Administration Support Specialist – Level II with ED2Go GED Studies
16 Months / 1360 hours
ProTRAIN will deliver computer and office skills training in a classroom environment to assist the client in obtaining the needed skills to be a competitive applicant in an entry-level position in an office setting. Training will be broken up into classroom sessions covering computer basics, keyboarding and the basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, along with a basic understanding of Customer Service, Communication, and other key business skills. Training will be held at ProTRAIN’s computer lab and will be delivered in a combination of instructor-led and self-paced (assisted by an instructor) training. Training will be 16 months, Monday-Thursday, five hours per day/20 hours per week.
College Technology Prep
240 hours
ProTRAIN will deliver online College Preparation computer skills training to assist the client in obtaining the needed skills to be successful in their community college program. The training is intended to be a supplemental program. Training will be broken up into online sessions covering computer basics, college preparation and keyboarding. ProTRAIN will also support the client’s community college learning objectives via course facilitation, technology assistance, etc.
